Coca-Cola — the logo

Coca-Cola was invented on May 8, 1886 by pharmacist John Stith Pemberton in Atlanta, Georgia. The iconic Spencerian cursive script logo was designed in 1885-1886 by Pemberton's bookkeeper Frank Mason Robinson, who also named the product. This cursive wordmark has remained the cornerstone of the brand's visual identity for over 130 years, making it one of the most recognised logos in the world.
