Firefox — the logo

Mozilla Firefox is a free web browser developed by the Mozilla Foundation, with its first stable release on 9 November 2004. The original logo — a fiery fox wrapping a blue globe — was designed by Jon Hicks; the most recent redesign in October 2019 simplified the fox and changed the globe from blue to purple. The project was previously named Phoenix, then Firebird, before settling on Firefox.
