PayPal — the logo

PayPal is an online payment service founded in 1998 as Confinity by Max Levchin, Peter Thiel, and Luke Nosek, later merging with Elon Musk's X.com in 2000. Acquired by eBay in 2002, it was spun off as an independent company in 2015. The current logo, featuring an overlapping double-P monogram in two shades of blue, was designed in 2014 by Yves Béhar of Fuseproject to give the brand a mobile-first identity.
