Uber is an American ride-hailing company founded in 2009 in San Francisco by Garrett Camp and Travis Kalanick. After a widely criticised in-house rebrand in 2016, Uber enlisted the agency Wolff Olins in 2018 for a full redesign: a clean black-and-white wordmark centred on the letter "U", which has since become the brand's recognisable identity.
