X (Twitter) — the logo

Twitter was founded in March 2006 in San Francisco by Jack Dorsey, Biz Stone, Noah Glass, and Evan Williams. In October 2022, Elon Musk acquired the platform for $44 billion and rebranded it to X in July 2023, replacing the famous blue bird with a stylised 'X'. The blue bird, known as 'Larry', had itself been refined by Douglas Bowman in 2012.
