Zoom was founded on April 21, 2011, in San Jose, California, by Eric Yuan, a former Cisco executive. The company, originally named Saasbee, was rebranded to Zoom in May 2012. It went public on the Nasdaq in April 2019 and experienced explosive growth during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. Its logo is a clean blue wordmark.
