Crunchyroll — the logo

Crunchyroll was founded on May 14, 2006 by University of California, Berkeley graduates, originally as a streaming site for East Asian content. Acquired by Sony in 2021, it is now the world's leading anime streaming platform. Its brand identity was completely overhauled in July 2024 at San Diego Comic-Con, introducing a new stylised eye logo, a custom typeface, and a glyph system inspired by anime and manga.
