Red Bull — the logo

Red Bull GmbH is an Austrian company founded in 1984 by Dietrich Mateschitz and Thai entrepreneur Chaleo Yoovidhya, inspired by the Thai energy drink Krating Daeng. The carbonated, reformulated drink was launched in Austria in 1987. Its logo depicts two red gaurs (large wild bovines native to Southeast Asia) charging towards each other in front of a yellow sun, directly echoing the imagery of the original Thai drink.
