Riot Games is an American video game developer and publisher founded in 2006 by Brandon Beck and Marc Merrill, best known for League of Legends (2009), one of the world's most-played PC games. The company was acquired by Tencent in 2011. Its current logo, refined in 2022, retains the fist icon and adopts a bolder typeface with distinctive angular cut-outs on the first and last characters.
