Starbucks — the logo

Starbucks is an American coffeehouse chain founded in 1971 in Seattle by Jerry Baldwin, Zev Siegl, and Gordon Bowker. Its logo features a two-tailed siren first designed in 1971 by Terry Heckler, then refined in 1987, 1992, and 2011. In 2011 the wordmark was dropped, leaving only the green siren — a mark iconic enough to stand alone.
