Zara — the logo

Zara is a fashion retail brand founded in 1975 in A Coruña, Galicia, Spain, by Amancio Ortega and Rosalía Mera, and is a subsidiary of the Inditex group. The brand was initially conceived under the name 'Zorba' before being renamed Zara. The current tightly-spaced serif logotype was introduced in 2019 by French agency Baron & Baron.
