Waze — the logo

Waze is a community-based navigation app founded in Israel in 2008 by Ehud Shabtai, Amir Shinar, and Uri Levine, growing out of the FreeMap Israel project started in 2006. It uses real-time data contributed by drivers to compute routes. Google acquired Waze in June 2013 for $1.3 billion.
