Audi — the logo

Audi was founded on 25 April 1910 in Zwickau, Germany, by August Horch, whose surname translated into Latin gives 'Audi' ('listen'). In 1932, the merger of Audi, DKW, Horch and Wanderer into Auto Union AG gave birth to the four interlocked rings, each representing one of the four founding marques. This logo is today one of the most iconic automotive emblems.
