Ford Motor Company was incorporated on 16 June 1903 in Detroit by Henry Ford with $28,000 from twelve investors. The company transformed the automotive industry by introducing the first moving assembly line in 1913 at Highland Park, making cars affordable to the masses through the Model T. The iconic blue oval, which emerged around 1912, has remained Ford's core visual identity ever since.
