Dell — the logo

Dell is an American technology company founded in 1984 by Michael Dell from his University of Texas dorm room, originally under the name PC's Limited. Renamed Dell in 1987, it grew into one of the world's largest personal computer manufacturers. Its iconic logo featuring a tilted "E", designed by Siegel+Gale in 1989, was said by founder Michael Dell to represent "turning the world on its ear".
