Delta — the logo

Delta Air Lines is an American airline founded in 1925 in Macon, Georgia, initially as a crop-dusting operation called Huff Daland Dusters, with passenger service beginning in 1929. Its triangular emblem, nicknamed the "widget" and designed in 1959 by Robert Bragg of ad agency Burke Dowling Adams, references both the Greek letter delta and the swept-wing shape of the airline's first jets.
