Lenovo is a Chinese technology group founded on 1 November 1984 in Beijing as Legend Holdings by Liu Chuanzhi. The name Lenovo — a blend of "Legend" and the Latin "novo" (new) — was adopted in 2003 to support international expansion. In 2015, Lenovo unveiled a new logo and the tagline "Never Stand Still", modernising a visual identity that had been carried forward from the Legend era.
