Mini — the logo

Mini is a British car brand launched in 1959 by the British Motor Corporation (BMC), with the original car designed by Sir Alec Issigonis. BMW acquired the brand in 1994 with the Rover Group and relaunched the modern MINI in 2001, restoring the historic winged logo in a contemporary design. The current logo — a circle flanked by stylised wings bearing the word MINI — deliberately references the badges of the earliest models.
