Steam — the logo

Steam is a digital game distribution platform developed by Valve Corporation (founded in 1996 by Gabe Newell and Mike Harrington) and launched on 12 September 2003. The original black-and-white logo was redesigned in August 2014 to adopt the white-and-blue colour scheme still in use today, the motif depicting a steam piston within a cog.
