Burger King — the logo

Burger King was founded on July 23, 1953 in Jacksonville, Florida as Insta-Burger King. Its current logo, unveiled in January 2021 and designed by Jones Knowles Ritchie, marked the brand's first major redesign in twenty years, dropping the 1999 blue swoosh in favour of a retro aesthetic inspired by the 1969-1994 designs, with two bun halves framing the name in the custom Flame Sans typeface.
