KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) traces its origins to 1930, when Harland Sanders began serving fried chicken from his roadside restaurant in Corbin, Kentucky. The first franchise opened in 1952 in Utah. The current logo, featuring a smiling Colonel Sanders portrait on a red-and-white background, was redrawn in 2006 and updated again in 2018.
