Visa — the logo

Visa is a global electronic payment network founded in 1958 by Bank of America in Fresno, California, as BankAmericard. In 1976, all licensees unified under the "Visa" brand, conceived by Dee Hock to be universally recognisable. The historic blue, white, and gold logo evolved into a fully flat, monochrome blue wordmark in 2021.
