Trivago is a hotel price comparison engine founded in January 2005 in Düsseldorf, Germany, by Rolf Schrömgens, Peter Vinnemeier, and Malte Siewert. Acquired by Expedia Group in 2013, it has been listed on NASDAQ since 2016. The current logo is a simple lowercase wordmark whose three syllables — "tri", "va", and "go" — are each rendered in a different colour (red, orange, and light blue).
