Adidas — the logo

Adidas is a German sportswear company founded in 1949 by Adolf Dassler in Herzogenaurach, Bavaria. Dassler registered the three-stripe trademark in March 1949, a visual signature that has remained the brand's core identity. The Trefoil logo introduced in 1972 and the 'Mountain' three-stripe triangle from 1991 complete the graphic system.
