CNN — the logo

CNN (Cable News Network) was founded on June 1, 1980 by Ted Turner and Reese Schonfeld in Atlanta, Georgia, becoming the world's first 24-hour news television channel. Its bold red "CNN" logotype has been its trademark since launch, with a minor refinement in 2014 that deepened the red and slightly altered the "C". CNN has been part of Warner Bros. Discovery since 1996.
