EA — the logo

Electronic Arts (EA) is an American video game company founded in May 1982 by former Apple employee Trip Hawkins, initially called Amazin' Software before being renamed Electronic Arts in November 1982. Its original logo — featuring a square, sphere and triangle representing "the basic alphabet of graphic design" — was created by Barry Deutsch of Steinhilber Deutsch and Gard. A red circular EA monogram logo has been used since 2020.
