Honda Motor Co., Ltd. is a Japanese manufacturer founded by Soichiro Honda in October 1946 as a technical research institute, then formally incorporated on 24 September 1948. Honda has been the world's largest motorcycle manufacturer since 1959 and is the world's largest producer of internal combustion engines by unit volume. The bold stylised 'H' emblem, clean and geometric, is applied across the brand's vehicles.
