Hyundai — the logo

Hyundai Motor Company was founded in 1967 in Seoul by Chung Ju-yung and launched its first car, the Pony, in 1975, growing into one of the world's largest automotive groups. Its logo, a stylised italic "H" inside an oval, was introduced in 1990 and is said to symbolise a handshake between the company and its customers.
