Renault — the logo

Renault is a French automaker founded on 25 February 1899 by Louis Renault and his brothers Marcel and Fernand as Société Renault Frères. The diamond (losange) emblem has been in use since 1925 and is one of the most recognisable automotive logos in the world; a celebrated three-dimensional version was created in 1972 by artist Victor Vasarely. In 2021, Renault unveiled a new flat, geometric diamond designed by Landor & Fitch as part of its "Renaulution" strategic transformation.
