Acer — the logo

Acer is a Taiwanese computer hardware manufacturer founded in 1976 as Multitech by Stan Shih in Hsinchu, renamed Acer in 1987. The company produces laptops, desktops, monitors and peripherals. Its current lowercase wordmark in blue-green was introduced in the early 2000s as part of a brand repositioning.
